Hunderfossen Family Park: what to know before you buy
The park is officially called Hunderfossen Eventyrpark, and family park is the name many visitors search for. It is one park, not two. The ticket calendar is controlled by date, and early booking is recommended. No single all-year day price covers every date, so the cost of a ticket depends on the day you choose.
Three parts are handled separately: the Eventyrparken itself, the children's farm Barnas Gård and the winter park Vinterparken. Check which one your ticket covers.

Hunderfossen tickets and prices
How the rules work in 2026.
Prices by date
The calendar sets the price for each open day, and buying early is recommended. The prices include 12 percent VAT. Look at the calendar for your own date, because a price seen for another day does not carry over.
Small children
Children under 90 cm enter the Eventyrpark without a ticket or registration. Free entry depends on height, not on age.
Seniors and companions
Visitors over 65 get a reduced price at the guest service desk, and the amount depends on the day. A companion with proof enters free.
Ticket scope
Eventyrparken, Barnas Gård and Vinterparken are separate. A ticket for one is not a ticket for the others.
Season and opening days
Open days are limited outside the main season.
The park does not open every day of the year. In autumn 2026 the operator offered selected weekends in late September and early October, with a limited number of tickets. Closed days appear in the calendar. Use that calendar for your date and do not rely on a headline text on the booking page.
Do not plan around a 2027 season until its dates appear in the ticket calendar. That is where new dates show up.
Parking and getting to Hunderfossen
Car, train and bus.
Parking
The day rate was NOK 99 in summer and autumn 2026, with number plate recognition. If you pay through Park & Go Web within 48 hours, NOK 39 is added to the tariff. An invoice adds NOK 49 and an invoice fee of NOK 10. Overnight parking is not allowed, and the grounds are locked in the evening and at night.
By train
With a valid train ticket to Hunderfossen station you get 20 percent off the regular park day ticket. The ticket must cover at least Moelv to Hunderfossen. You get the refund at the guest service desk after showing both tickets. It cannot be combined with a ticket that is already discounted.
By bus
Relevant lines are the summer lines 502 and 503 and the regular line 141. Hafjellbussen 502 has a NOK 10 offer from 22 June to 16 August. Check the dates and timetable for your year.
From Oslo
The regional train RE10 runs to Lillehammer. See the full journey and the road options on the Oslo to Lillehammer page.
Oslo to Lillehammer →For most families who come by train, the rail discount is the first thing to use, and a car family should add the day parking to the budget.
